A world into another – Un Mundo dentro de otro

I am hooked on oriental culture for many reasons, but the main one is that oriental people are able to build up a very different world from ours. Just think about Japan: really huge and beautiful cities perfectly mixed with small towns and villages.

This is the reason why I have chosen this photo from Thierry B taken in Shanghai, China.

I would like to mention an Eva García’s description about the project: “This is Now” want to show the perceptions we have about what “now, this days, this age” is… and I think it does not matter we are so far away from Shanghai, because it is a city which is alive right now. Maybe it is a good idea to look around and enjoy what is happening near and away from us.

Desde hace mucho tiempo me apasiona la cultura oriental como ninguna otra, y esto se debe a varios motivos, pero uno de ellos se destaca fuertemente y es el hecho de que constituyen un mundo completamente distinto al que nosotros estamos acostumbrados, donde se alzan inmensas urbes perfectamente mezcladas con los pequeños pueblos sin romper su belleza y armonía, como sucede muy a menudo en Japón. Por este motivo es que elegí esta hermosa foto de Thierry B tomada en Shangai, China.

Me gustaría citar la descripción que me ha dado Eva García sobre este proyecto: “This is Now” consiste en mostrar las percepciones que tenemos del “ahora”, de la actualidad, de los tiempos que estamos viviendo ahora… y a pesar que estemos a miles de kilómetros de distancia esta es una realidad que esta sucediendo ahora y me parece una excelente idea no solo centrarse en lo que nos rodea, sino apreciar nuestros alrededores.
