Sound in its purest form, interpreted in combinations that produce music, has always been of interest to people. For rescuing souls, recovering spirits, warning ears and offering new proposals, music has never been so vibrant everywhere in the world. Thus each of its demonstration is achieved in different ways by people, if we talk about live shows, although there is a crisis imposed by the media, people still converge massively to them in the same proportion than in previous years. Concerning records, people consume them in greater quantity than in the past, just the way to do it has changed, from purchasing to digital format. And if we have to talk about music today with a notebook and softwares (in addition to skills and talent), you can almost create music without the need of owning a first-class recording studio and some musicians around. These are some of the consequences of the evolution of technology, the open-mindedness and the constant need of human beings to express themselves through art, where music has always occupied a main role.

If I had to choose a song that represents the ‘now’ in music (a task more than difficult), it could be Cut Copy – Hearts On Fire, because of its present character. This Australian electropop is oriented towards the experimentation of electronic sounds with an inclination to dance. Positive music for these days, which is something that never goes wrong.
To conclude this text, I will let you know that my musical tastes are various and mixed, from hip hop (the real one), rock (from the 70s’ and forward), funk, jazz, latin, pop, reggae and its variants , etc.. where the only thing really assessable by whoever wrote them is the quality of the sound and its authenticity. Musical successes and may ‘now’ last forever

El sonido en su estado más puro, interpretado en combinaciones que generen música, siempre ha sido de interés por parte de las personas. Para rescatar almas, recuperar espíritus, alertar a los oídos y proponer nuevas propuestas, la música actualmente está más viva que nunca en todo el mundo. Es así como cada demostración de la misma es adquirida en diferente medida por las personas, si hablamos de shows en vivo, aunque haya una crisis impuesta por los medios, la gente concurre en gran cantidad a los mismos igualmente que en años anteriores. Si pensamos en discos, el individuo los consume en mayor cantidad que en el pasado, sólo que el método para hacerlo ya no es a través de la adquisición de los mismos, sino por medio del formato digital. Y si hay que hablar de músicos, hoy en día con una notebook y algunos programas, (además de habilidad y talento), se puede crear música casi sin la necesidad de poseer un estudio de grabación de primer nivel y varios músicos alrededor. Son éstas algunas de las consecuencias de la evolución de la tecnología, la apertura de mentes y la constante necesidad del ser humano de expresarse a través de las artes, en donde la música ocupa desde siempre un papel fundamental.

Si tuviese que elegir una canción que represente el ahora de la música (tarea más que difícil), podría ser Cut Copy – Hearts On Fire, por su carácter de actual. Este grupo australiano de electropop trae consigo una dirección orientada hacia la experimentación de sonidos electrónicos con una inclinación bailable. Música positiva para estos tiempos, algo que nunca viene mal.

Igualmente, y para cerrar este texto, les comento que mis inclinaciones musicales son diferentes y dispares, desde hip hop (el real), rock (desde los años 70′ en adelante), funk, jazz, latin, pop, reggae y sus variantes, etc.; en donde realmente lo único juzgable por quien les escribe es la calidad y autenticidad sonora.
