This is now, the future of design, the designers of the future, have a place to expand their ideas, their innovative aproach to reality, their vision for a new world, a place called “European Design Labs” by IED Madrid. It’s a Master Degree in Product Design, Fashion Concept and Visual Communication, where designers from all over the world meet together to visit Europe’s most important fairs to know whats happening today in the design industry. It’s a cross-over approach, experimentation, innovation, creativity and project. This is Now in the design world.

Open your eyes, abre el ojo

Abre el ojo is the digital magazine of IED Madrid, it’s focused in design and art, it comes in two flavors, first as a blog abreelojo.com featuring daily news about design and exhibitions in Madrid and second as a downlodable pdf magazine, it brings to you, design portfolios from young international design students and articles about art and design. The magazine was created by Javier Olivares and now is directed by Pedro Medina, director of ied’s cultural area, the design and art direction is leading by Javier Maseda and the lay-out by the ied’s creativity team.
