This weekend I visited some close friends in North Germany, Bremen to be precise.

On Saturday we decided to defy the torrential rain and go in town. On the Cathedral square we were suddenly surrounded by hundreds of teenagers. They were not listening to loud music, they were not doing anything except jumping. It wasn’t even rope jumping, just regular synchronized jumping.

I guess it was a competition of some sort but it was a bit surreal to suddenly have all of these people around us jumping at the same pace and in the same manner in the middle of rainy German town.
