Where would we be… without controversy

I’ve always been a huge fan of self portraits and interesting faces.  Lips and tongues are also interesting.  Yet I felt the urge to post this because controversy in today’s media and entertainment is never far away.  We should celebrate it because it keeps life from being dull.  Not that my life right now is dull.

It still surprises me how a bad and grainy photo can still look good.  It doesn’t have the same sharpness but it certainly adds to the personality of RainLover_Seoul’s self portraits.

This spooked me a lot.  Yet it’s another fine example of two things capturing the moment in different ways. One through photography, the other through a mold.

fruit stripe

To view the photo, please visit Kelly Angard – kreativekell’s photo

A self portrait taken by one of the best contributors to the This is Now pool, KreativeKell.  Stripes and patterns are something I love for design.  Add in the female form, and you’ve got one stunning image.  It’s no wonder this reached #1 on Flickr’s explore a month ago!

Hidden behind a multitude of colours, it has a certain painting look about it.  Combined with those ridiculous glasses (I’m sorry but they are!) makes for an awesome photo.
